What kind of work?
роман, прича and песма name written forms; филм and представа name screen and stage works. радња is the plot and лик is a character.
Радња романа прати три лика.

Process and completion again
читати / прочитати and гледати / погледати keep the aspect contrast: «Читам роман» is in progress; «Прочитао сам га» presents it as finished.
Прочитала сам књигу за два дана.

Which book? Which film?
Relative pronouns agree with their role inside the clause: «књига коју читам», «филм о којем говоримо», «писац чије дело познајем».
Ово је филм о којем смо причали.
This is the film we talked about.
What appealed to you
With допасти се, the liked thing is the subject and the person is dative: «Допао ми се филм», «Допала ми се књига», «Допали су ми се ликови».
Највише ми се допала радња.
I liked the plot most.
Summarising a work
«Ради се о…» takes the locative and means it is about. «Заснован на…» also takes the locative and agrees with the work: филм је заснован, серија је заснована.
Филм је заснован на роману.
The film is based on a novel.
