Terms of Use — Slavonaut
1) Agreement
By accessing or using https://slavonaut.com, you agree to these Terms.
2) Accounts
You must provide accurate information and keep your account secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
3) Acceptable use
Do not: break the law, abuse or harass others, reverse engineer non-open parts of the service, or overload/attack our infrastructure.
4) Intellectual property
- Our software, brand, and design are owned by Slavonaut or its licensors.
- Code we open-source is governed by the license in its repository.
- Data from Wiktionary is used under CC BY-SA 3.0 and remains licensed accordingly (see Licensing & Credits).
5) User content
You retain rights to content you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide license to store, display, and process it to operate the service. If you choose to publish content, you agree that publicly shared dictionary-style contributions are licensed under CC BY-SA 3.0 to remain compatible with Wiktionary-like reuse.
6) Subscriptions & billing
Slavonaut Plus is an optional paid subscription that unlocks additional features. It is offered as an auto-renewing monthly or yearly plan. The price, billing interval, and any free trial available to you are shown before you confirm a purchase.
Purchases made in the iOS app are processed by Apple and are also subject to Apple's terms. Purchases made on the web are processed by RevenueCat, our subscription provider, and its payment processor.
A subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel it. Cancel through the platform you subscribed on: in your Apple ID subscription settings for iOS purchases, or through "Manage subscription" on your Slavonaut profile (also linked in your purchase confirmation email) for web purchases. You can also contact us for help. Cancelling stops future renewals.
Refunds and VAT handling follow the terms shown at purchase and, for iOS purchases, Apple's policies. We may change pricing on renewal with prior notice.
7) Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is" without warranties. Language data may contain errors. Use at your own risk.
8) Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Slavonaut will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim (or CHF 0 if you paid nothing).
9) Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time.
10) Governing law & venue
These Terms are governed by Swiss law. Exclusive venue: courts of Zürich, Switzerland.
11) Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use indicates acceptance of the updated version.
