У ресторану — Order in a restaurant or кафана and ask for the рачун.
Ресторан or кафана?
A ресторан is a restaurant. A кафана is a Serbian social institution for food, drink, coffee, conversation, and often live music — more than the English word “tavern” suggests.
Вечерас идемо у кафану.
Tonight we're going to a kafana.
Order with Ја ћу…
A natural order is «Ја ћу…» + accusative: Ја ћу кафу. Ја ћу супу. Learn it as “I'll have…”; the future-tense grammar behind ћу comes later.
Ја ћу кафу, молим.
I'll have a coffee, please.
One more
Use још + accusative: још једно пиво, још једну кафу, још једну салату. The form of “one” agrees with the noun.
Још једно пиво, молим.
One more beer, please.
Read the јеловник
јеловник is a menu; супа and чорба are soups, месо is meat, риба fish, прилог a side, and десерт dessert. Serbian favourites include ћевапи, пљескавица, and кајмак. At the table, say «Пријатно!»

Pay the bill
Ask «Рачун, молим». A server may check «Да ли је то све?» — Is that all? Answer «Да, то је све» or order још нешто.

Разговор: од јеловника до рачуна
Read the service exchange from greeting to payment. Notice that Милица orders food first, then a drink, and asks for the bill only after the meal.
Конобар: «Добро вече. Изволите јеловник.» Милица: «Хвала. Ја ћу супу и ћевапе са кајмаком.» Конобар: «Да ли желите нешто да попијете?» Милица: «Једну киселу воду, молим.» После јела конобар пита: «Да ли је то све?» Милица: «Да, хвала. Рачун, молим.»
Server: “Good evening. Here is the menu.” Milica: “Thank you. I'll have soup and ćevapi with kajmak.” Server: “Would you like something to drink?” Milica: “One sparkling water, please.” After the meal, the server asks: “Is that all?” Milica: “Yes, thank you. The bill, please.”
