Hobbies & Free Time in Polish: Grać w, Grać na
One verb — grać — two prepositions, two worlds: sports and games go one way, instruments the other. Add "I'm interested in" and a frequency, and you're small-talk complete.

Being Interested
interesować się + instrumental: Interesuję się historią (history), sportem, muzyką. The question: Czym się interesujesz? — czym being the instrumental of co.
The Active Verbs
pływać (swim), biegać (run), gotować (cook), tańczyć (dance), czytać — all at home in w wolnym czasie (in my free time).
How Often
raz w tygodniu (once a week), dwa razy w miesiącu (twice a month), codziennie — the Chapter 3 frequency kit, now scheduling your hobbies.

What are you into?
Sportem — biegam trzy razy w tygodniu. I gotuję!
Sport — I run three times a week. And I cook!
To ugotuj coś polskiego.
Then cook something Polish.
Pierogi? Wyzwanie przyjęte.

Common Mistakes
- gram na piłkę. Sports take w: gram w piłkę.
- gram w gitarze. Instruments take na + locative: na gitarze.
- interesuję się o… No preposition — just the instrumental: interesuję się historią.
